Luminița NICOLESCU is a full Professor at the Faculty of International Business and Economics, Bucharest University of Economic studies, teaching international marketing and international business topics. She obtained her Master by Research and her PhD degrees at Canterbury Business School University of Kent, UK. She also graduated an MBA in Managmeent of Higher Education at Institute of Education, University of London, UK. Her research focused on more directions, ranging from marketing and management at international level, the management of SMEs and the management of higher education, as she participated in over 30 nresearch projects either as director or coordinator (14) or as a research team member. Research results are represented by over 50 books and book chapters, over 80 papers in various scientific journals and over 90 participations in national and international conferences.
Mariana Nicolae teaches communication, leadership and creative thinking at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (www.ase.ro) and the University of Bucharest. She was a Fulbright senior scholar, a Fulbright ambassador for higher education institutions and participated as an expert evaluator in the Framework Programme FP7 of the European Union.
At present she is interested in creative writing and publishing. Also, she is a volunteer in several NGOs through which she spreads her deep belief that education is the only viable way forward for the world.
