Creative and cultural industries (CCI) are increasingly positioned at the intersection of economic growth,
cultural expression, and sustainability transitions. Considering the continuous challenges and changes
societies and economies face, as well as evolving consumer expectations, CCI must adapt through new
policy frameworks, sustainable production models, and shifting consumption patterns. This track
explores how creative sectors (design, fashion, media, architecture, cultural heritage, performing arts,
gaming, etc.) engage with sustainability agendas and policy mechanisms, and examines consumer
behavior as a driver of transformation.
The track welcomes interdisciplinary contributions from economics, cultural studies, marketing, public policy, sustainability science, and behavioral research. Expected contributions might consider advancing insight on:
- Theoretical understanding of CCI within sustainability transitions
- Cultural values shaping sustainable consumption
- Cultural narratives, creativity, and social change
- Policy frameworks and governance for sustainable CCI
- Policy design for creative ecosystems
- Consumer behavior toward sustainable cultural products
- Behavioral drivers of ethical fashion and design
- Circular economy models in fashion, design, and media
- Cultural heritage and sustainable tourism
- Innovation, digitalization, and new business models
- Innovative and resilient creative industry models
- NFTs, digital art, and sustainability implications
